Local Next.js dashboard · Working local prototype
Deal Command Center
A local dashboard that pulls CRM timelines, tasks, and meeting context into a single deal briefing focused on status, blockers, evidence, and next actions.
What this shows: I design tools around how deal reviews actually happen, and scope the gaps clearly for the next iteration.
Challenge
Preparing for customer and deal discussions meant pulling together scattered CRM timelines, tasks, meeting context, blockers, and follow-up decisions by hand.
My role
I designed the intended workflow and iterated the implementation with AI-assisted coding tools. I tested the local application and resolved the TypeScript and ESLint issues that came up.
Approach
- Built a Next.js and TypeScript dashboard that handles credentials on the server side.
- Implemented deal search, filters, navigation, deal timelines, rules-based briefings, temporary meeting notes, and text export for a selected deal.
- Structured each briefing around deal status, blockers, evidence, timing, and next actions rather than a generic summary.
- Listed the product gaps explicitly so the next iteration has a clear scope.
Tools
Next.js, TypeScript, HubSpot, AI-assisted coding, Rules-based summaries
Result
A working local prototype that demonstrates CRM-centered workflow design. It isn't deployed, and several features are unfinished.
Limitations
- No authentication yet.
- Meeting notes don't persist across refreshes, and decisions aren't saved durably.
- AI briefings don't yet cite their evidence, and weekly change tracking and full weekly reports aren't built.
- I explored further development in Base44; that migration isn't complete and nothing is in production.
Technical depth
- CRM credentials are handled server-side rather than in browser code.
- Briefings are generated from rules over deal fields, so their output is predictable and reviewable.
- Text export is available for a selected deal.
